I came here with flu-like symptoms. They tested me for flu and Covid. Both were negative. They told me what I had was viral and it would run its course. They told me to get over the counter medicine, stay hydrated and rest. Day 5, my symptoms did not improve and I got a chest x-ray which turned out to be pneumonia in both lungs. Their mentality is let’s test for flu and Covid because that’s the only two illnesses out there in the world!I was very sick for months and this could have all been avoided if I was given the proper care. Coming here was a complete waste of my time.
Reception: poor. I walk in, go to check in at kiosk but receptionist waves me over, I go to her, and she asks me why Im there, when I tell her, she tells me to go to the same kiosk that I had gone to before she called me over. While I spent time talking to her needlessly, another person, who had been behind me, checked in at the kiosk and now she got ahead of me. What is the purpose of calling SOME people over to the receptionist?Doctor/PA care: AMAZING. She listened, she cared, she knew what she was talking about. The wonderful Doctor/PA care was so good that Im still giving them 5 stars, in spite of the nonsensical reception experience.
The staff was very friendly willing to listen wait time was short I made the appointment online which was relatively easy once I registered person that saw me worked for my primary doctors office at one time. The place was clean as well. A little more aggressive treatment should have been recommended other than the nose spray and Mucinex. Given whatever is out there thats getting most of us sick its long-term just doesnt go away without antibiotics coworkers and neighbors all experience in the same thing right now
I arrived after testing positive for COVID 19 at home. My vital signs were taken and a prescription was sent to my local CVS pharmacy. It was relatively easy to get an appointment and the wait wasnt too bad.
Dr Melissa Clifford & the entire staff were amazing. Super friendly, professional & Dr Melissa made me feel really comfortable within the situation I was in. She got my sense of humor & that was one of many great qualities of her personality that I immediately felt stress free. I really love this particular location - partnered up with Northwell. I would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to GoHealth Urgent Care. 🤗🤗🤗
Had a positive home test for Covid. Was sent by my employers employee health service to come get a test here for official diagnosis. That was 2pm. It is now 4:30pm and I have just been put in a room and had my vital checked. They informed me that they only do the Covid pcr exam here for people with positive home tests (pcr takes 1-2 days to get back). I tell them my employer needs my results by tonight if possible because I do shift work and I am supposed to be at work tomorrow. They told me they still can’t do the rapid test for me…. I guess I will wait then.My employers employee health department also told me this visit would be free of cost because we are the same health network. I was still charged $30 despite bringing this up to the front desk.CityMD would have had me in and out of their place in less than an hour with results. Don’t waste your time here.
Front desk lady was awful. Extremely rude and disrespectful and had her jacket covering her name. When asking about co-pay her response was I dont care what you pay. Extremely unprofessional, and patients should never be spoken to or treated the way she just treated my family.
Went 4 months ago. Treated and sent on my way. Before I left I asked about co-pay. Nope nothing due they said. Ok great. Here we are 4 months later with a letter from a collection agency asking for the payment. Northwell Health NEVER SENT A BILL. The guy in the collections agency sent me a bill because I wanted one. they just send it to collectors. Unbelievable
Care was fine. Visit was for bloodwork and also a Quick Look at a possible infected thumb nail. Always feel a bit anxious when the phlebotomist dons gloves without washing her hand’s especially when fingernails are very long. Also had to wait forNP even though I was the first appointment. Got a script for keflex 5 days which I finished and mu nail is still swollen and red. If I return I will have to pay for the 2nd visitWhich is not right
Place was so clean. Nurse was so very nice. Doctor was very professional and took his time without me feeling rushed. I highly recommend
I went this morning with an appointment. I walked in, checked in, and had a seat. As I was making the appointment, it had me upload my insurance card. I did upload the card.About 10 min after I arrived someone called my name. I walked up to the reception area where I was asked for my insurance card. I handed my card to her and she was having trouble entering it in the system. I saw her trying to take a picture of it with her personal cell phone. I asked her if she was using her personal phone to take a picture of my personal insurance card and she said yes. I asked her not to do that and if there was an alternative such as a copy machine and she said the system doesn’t work like that. I told her not to take a picture and she said something to the effect of tell me what to do then. I said if you want me to take a picture on my personal phone and email it somewhere I can do that. She gave an attitude back and didn’t say another word. I don’t know if my insurance will be billed or not but I suspect no. The girl that assisted me in the room was nice and understood I was upset. I appreciate that awareness. Very unprofessional and no one should be taking pictures of anyone’s personal information especially without asking.
Great overall experience, from booking my appointment through the actual visit. Staff was efficient and friendly. Doc was outstanding. Super knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend this location
I couldn’t be more pleased with my recent visit to the Massapequa Park location.1. The gent @ reception, also x-ray tech, was spectacular, calm & sweet. I called ahead because I wasnt certain if it was an appropriate place For the care I needed, He told me it was, & that it would be good to register online to get through quicker, & gave me an appt time. There had been a grouchy mean person in the past who wouldnt answer the phone & if he did would give wrong short answers to get off the phone. He made it very offputting to come to this location. Folks, we all health professionals here, well, I used to be, but we are all human. Humans come with various life difficulties. I wish the grumpy reception person only the best. But it’s much nicer to be treated with dignity and warmth, and therapeutic as well.2. I loved Dr. Solano! She treated me with warmth & professionalism. I really appreciate that she gave me a printout of the take home instructions! When I encountered a little difficulty, shortly after I left, I referred to the instructions which confirmed I should return. They took me right in & Dr. Solanto took care of the issue.3. I also had an excellent encounter with the person who took my H&P, vitals.👏👏👏 thank you very much for the excellent care made easy.
Friendly right when you walk in. Everyones very helpful. Its not uncomfortable being in there, and Ive hardly ever had to wait very long.
The doctor took her time with the patient. She was thorough and advised adequately and responsibly.
Went here on Tuesday 3/12/24 after coughing and congestion for 2 days, it was obvious I had an infection. Doctor tested for covid, flu. Did a chest xray all negative. She said shes going to treat me for the flu anyway because she doesnt trust the negative results. How do you treat someone for an illness they DONT have. I kept getting worse, went to my own doctor and got the proper care.
The entire staff was great. The nurse and physician’s assistant were very kind and professional!
Quality careOrganizedGreat etiquette by all levels of staff and Drs.
I saw Mary 5/31/ 24 What a pleasant person she is. I wish I could stay longer but I am a patient. Lol.
I had one really great experience here so I came back again. Different doctor. Seemed nice but I explained my symptoms (cough for 4 days, no congestion, rapids everyday neg for Covid). She insisted she do her own rapid. When it was negative I asked for a viral panel (explaining there’s a newborn in the family, a toddler at home, I needed to know to protect them). She refused since I didn’t have a temp at that moment and it would t change the course of treatment. Told me to drink fluids and rest.Well naturally, I spiked a fever, never got better, cough got worse, found another doctor who placed me on a z pak, Bronchitis turned into pneumonia. 3 weeks later, I’m still trying to recover. It’s time patients get treated with respect. Had I of known what I had, it would have helped the other DOCTORS help me a lot sooner. Flu tests and RSV tests are not in shortage. So what’s the reason then for denying a patient’s will to know their diagnosis for their own health?
The care I received was top notch. From the moment I walked through the door I was treated with such warmth and care. The woman at the front desk and who drew my blood was perfect. Multi tasking is not easy in the medical field. The medical assistant was caring and thorough and easy to speak with. Dr Solano was tremendous. Her knowledge and expertise were able to catch the proper diagnosis. She sent me for a chest xray and performed ample testing to come up with a diagnosis. Kudos to the Massapequa Park Team!!
Had severe symptoms of UTI, saw Dr Solano, very nice dr, after urinalysis told I had a UTI and she prescribed 5 days of antibiotic Ceftin 500 mg, told me to await results of urine culture.Three days later I received a call from her office asking me to call back. Left message but no call back, very impersonal computerized answering machine. She had said the urine culture would let her know if I needed to change the antibiotic to a different type so I was worried & stopped by the office. Annoyed young medical assistant said I should have telephoned not stopped by. Told to wait while she consulted dr, after which the assistant took me into a room to say, there was no UTI, if youre still having symptoms see a gynecologist or urologist. So what does this mixed message mean, she made a mistake on the urinalysis & should not have prescribed Ceftin 500 mg twice daily for five days, now on culture I have no infection? Very suspicious that the office would call me with a negative result, I think they were just annoyed that I stopped by for the results. Tried to access the GoHealth portal and was told they could not find my patient information. Very unprofessional treatment and confusing result, JRC
Received excellent care at GoHealth in Massapequa. PA was attentive and very thorough with her care and follow up instructions.
Went there with a broken foot. Diagnosed with displaced fracture. They offered zero pain medicine and referred me to a doctor that doesn’t take my insurance. Thanks for nothing..
Always professional. Dr Kostroff is an exceptional Doctor who makes you feel comfortable. I never feel that she is hurried rushing off to another patient. She always makes sure if I have any questions about my treatment. I wish all my Doctors had her bedside manner and expertise. The office is always spotless and the staff is always pleasant and kind. I highly recommend and have recommended her office.
Kyle Lennon was kind and compassionate, he was excellent in diagnosing my issue.Thank-you
Went in with a broken foot they took 1 xray, sent me out the door crying unable to walk, no one offered help besides other patients, go to another doctor and my foot is broken. Thanks!
I had a good experience at my visit on 8/7/23. Dr. Johnson was very thorough. He told me that if the medication he prescribed didnt work, I could call back and get an antibiotic. I tried to do that today, but was told by the receptionist the only person that could give me that prescription is the doctor that saw me. Unfortunately he is not working today. I really need the prescription. Its been four days and the steroids are not working. I dont understand why they just cant look at my chart and another doctor prescribe an antibiotic? A note may even be in the chart about it?
The doctor and nurse were professional and polite. They took care of us in a timely manner, but took their time to explain everything to us. Clearly, I would recommend going to the Massapequa location.
My experience was good was taken well the Doctor was great and the staff
I took a pretty bad fall yesterday and wound up breaking a finger. The silver lining was being treated by PA Mary. What a wonderful bedside manner. She was compassionate, knowledgeable and thorough. I wish more healthcare providers were like her.
Excellent bedside manner, I felt heard and helped immediately. The absolute best part was hooking me up with a doctor appointment right away to follow through. This is the rubric all urgent care centers should follow.
I visited the office Saturday, December 17th. I had made a last minute appt, but it was so busy, it took nearly 1 hour to be seen. This was totally understandable given the amount of sicknesses out today. The reception was warm and caring, and the initial intake technician was friendly, intelligent and comforting. The Dr was thorough and friendly. I felt very welcome, not a burden even with them so busy. I would recommend visiting this office and will return.
All they can talk about is covid and refused to give me a strep test upon request. Its actually a joke they sent me home and told me to just take nyquil. Went to another place and they instantly knew it was strep. Dont go here if you actually want help with your illness.
I went in for a covid test for pre surgery. I spoke with the doctors assistant and the doctor after my test. Everything was explained to me and they made me feel comfortable that my test would get there on time. It did. The doctor and his assistant were very helpful. They explained everything to me in detail. They were friendly and nice. I feel they listened and made me feel comfortable with the procedure I was going in the hospital for. I want to thank them, so I am leaving a nice review. Thank you!
The front desk staff was very good. I came in for severe throat pain and discharge in my eyes. The doctor and medical assistant were rude and forced me to take a Covid test when I already took one the day before. My vitals were not even taken. The doctor spoke to me from the door and barely examined me. I had to ask for eye drops for my conjunctivitis and he didnt check my ears. I woke up a few days later with severe pain in my ears and went to another urgent care and they diagnosed me with an ear infection and gave appropriate medicine. I will not be coming back to this location.
I was extremely pleased by the level of service at this facility. The staff was friendly and comforting. The doctor was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and very professional. I was most impressed by the fact that I was sent for additional outside tests and your office called to schedule the appointment for me. The doctor then called me with the results the same day. It was a level of care that you dont find often in todays busy world. They were an exceptional group of caregivers!!! Thank you!
I had an appt on Monday for Covid test.I was greeted by very efficient front desk coordinator. I had to go wait in my car until they called me in.When I got in the room the medical assistant RACHEL came in. She was very caring & professional when she did my vitals and the swab. I was seen byDr. Kyle Lennon . He was awesome, calming, & professional. He took the time to answer all my questions. I have been to this urgent care facility a few times and have always had a good experience.Great job by all at the Massapequa urgent care !!!!Thank you
Lovely employees; caring professionals. Doctor was very helpful.
Everyone is polite and helpful. The visit was thorough and quick. No long waits. 10. Dr Kyle Lennon is an excellent physician and I appreciate that although hes busy - you dont feel rushed. He listens patiently
Took me right away, good doctor, got the prescription I needed.
I do love that this place is available on the weekends and even after hours of my primary care doctor ad they will text you when to arrive if there is along wait however I did not have a good first experience here.I had been at another urgent care facility prior to this one and I was informed my new insurance plan was not accepted there and was told about this urgent care. When I arrived the receptionist was busy finishing something on her computer but then looked up. I asked her if my insurance was accepted and she said she didnt know, I would have to fill everything out first (mind you the urgent care I was just out knew instantly and even made a call for me to double check if they took it). The receptionist then motioned toward a tablet (which was not easily accessible because it was turned toward the main desk she was sitting at) and said just fill everything out. This is not very personal or welcoming. She did inform me that the wait was upwards of 120 minutes and I could make an appointment and come back. After waiting several minutes for the tablet to load everything I left and received a text to finish filling out my paperwork online. Once online I was easily able to see that my insurance plan was indeed accepted and was again puzzled why the receptionist couldnt tell me this. I left this place truly not wanting to return and in fact looked to go to another urgent care place that would provide a more friendly, welcoming and informational experience for me. By the time my appointment was set to go I had already driven to another urgent care, saw the doctor and received my diagnosis.I would not recommend family or friends to go to this location.
I would highly discourage anyone from using this urgent care. I went to this location for pre-surgical COVID testing and in advance of the testing I was not informed I would be charge $600 for the test. I wound up having to get this done twice so I received a bill of $1,200 for two 5-minute COVID swabs. I understand I probably should have confirmed the billed amount in advance of the test but had previously been to this location before and didnt receive such a bill. They refused to do anything about the billable amount upon inquiring further as this is what we bill your insurance provider as a standard rate regardless of procedure type. This seems ethically wrong to me and would recommend using another location.
I accidentally in a rush reachedfor a chemical solution thinking it was my eye drops..immediately felt stinging/blurred vision..this was the closest urgent care near me. It was very busy on a Monday evening. The front desk lady was very helpful and even did the registration for me because I was in discomfort due to my eye…the male physician who saw me was extremely polite/caring. Thanks!
Staff was friendly and professional while I was on site yesterday. The doctor told me she was sending the prescription to the pharmacy right now. She did not. I called 2.5 hours later from the pharmacy; the call center representative told me it is normal for a prescription to take up to 5 hours. She was then able to get the doctor to send the prescription within minutes, so all was good. Here is where the positive comments end.I had a violent reaction to the antibiotic and have been calling since 8:15 this morning trying to get a call back so that a different antibiotic could be prescribed. The published number is not for the location, all calls go through a call center. This is very important for everyone to know. There is no way of getting in touch with the Massapequa center directly. The call center calls them and they do not pick up.This is still not resolved, I have still not received a call back. I am being told by the call center that the Massapequa center is not picking up, but they have sent through an urgent request. If you are OK dealing with a CALL CENTER, and if you think waiting over 6 hours for a call back is ok, by all means visit this center. If you think this is unacceptable, please go somewhere else.
The facility was spotless. I was greeted immediately by the receptionist. I had made an appointment online which I think is the ideal way to go. The provider was excellent. He spent the time with me that was necessary and then made sure I didn’t need anything else. Dr Lennon is very professional, caring and kind. I was in and out of the facility in no time at all. I always recommend GoHealth to friends and family!
This is the REVISED review after the office supervisor called me back.. she was very kind and understanding and the review I printed below was for a phlebotomist that northwell calls in to do scripts and draw blood, well I know I won’t be going there for that but otherwise would try them again…If I could give this place 0 reviews I would, I needed a Covid test for an upcoming surgery and Northwell gave me a script and a list of their urgent cares near me, they told me I didn’t need an appointment I could just walk in. Well five days before my surgery I went to this location there was only two other people a teenager which The desk was helping. And her father waiting..the greeting I received when I first walked into the door was very rude. The gentleman at the desk looked like he was overwhelmed and there was only one other person he was helping? He told me to sign in and to sit down. I waited only about five minutes till this woman who looked like maybe a doctor, PA, Np? Not quite sure, she walked in from outside looked at the sign in sheet and she looked over at me and said I scribbled my name next time I should write more clearly. The woman then asked if I had a script which she asked me very abruptly where is your script? I then looked at the woman and said please? She then gave me a look like how dare you talk to me like that? I then got up went over to her and told her how rude she was and left I will never go back to this place. Northwell on the other hand the surgery was amazing the doctors and nurses from the other locations are awesome as for this place which is down the block from me I will never step foot in again.
Dr Kyle Lennon is very competent, concerned and pleasant. Highly recommended. Ive had a bad cough for a few months. He immediately sent me for a chest x-ray (which my primary never did). His diagnosis was correct. I had pneumonia
First time at a Gohealth. Everyone was very friendly, patient and responsive to all my concerns. Also, there was no waiting and the whole place was immaculate. Great experience.
Gave me a nasal spray and felt better right away
Have no complaints, staff was excellent, kind and caring!
The medical assistant was great, she listened to my concerns. Dr Solano is an excellent doctor. She is very thorough and explains everything. Results were ready in a timely manner.
Courteous, helpful, short wait period & spot on diagnosis
Getting tested for CORONA VIRUS can be very scary. But the staff at GO HEALTH Massapequa may me feel so comfortable. From Nia who greeted me when I walked in and helped me navigate the check in on my phone then Marissa who was so gentle when administering the test. After that Dr. Kyle came in to go through the next step of getting the results. Asked if I had any questions and told me that I could call for results if I could not get on the portal. All in all they all made me feel very relaxed. They were all very professional and showed that they REALLY care. I would recommend them to any one who is nervous or hesitant of getting tested. THANK YOU TO YOU ALL....
This was by far the WORST urgent care experience I have ever had at Northwell Health. After checking in, I waited over an hour to be seen. Initially there were 2 patients ahead of me. A third person walked in after me and was then taken before me. My wait time jumped from 1 min to an additional 26 min. After inquiring why I was still made to wait while there was no one ahead of me, staff was walking around chatting about recipes. I then requested the names of the managers on duty and medical staff. After that, I was promptly taken into a back room, vitals taken and left again to wait for a medical professional. As I was writing this, I was still waiting, and its been 1 hour and 30 min. When I finally met with the doctor, she (Dr. Solano)told me she was the only medical staff on site and that is the practice at these facilities. While she was professional and polite, the manager on staff hid from me as did the receptionist until I left. Northwell will be receiving a letter on this matter shortly. Avoid this location at all costs!
This was my first time visiting this Urgent Care location because my PCP’s Office was closed. I had a gout flare up the previous night and I needed to get the proper medication within the first 36 hours to reduce the recovery time. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the facility and was seen by the doctor within 10 minutes. The doctor was very good, friendly and informative. He took care of my needs and told me that if I had any questions or concerns to call him and he would help me. It took only three days for me get back on my feet walking. Anyone that has ever experienced a gout attack knows that is amazing. I also received a follow up call after three days to check to ask how I was feeling. I would recommend this office to anyone that needs quick and efficient medical care.
Went to this urgent care as I recently switched insurance companies and needed to see a Dr same day for illness. It was an easy check in process and I was quickly seen by the PA. I very much appreciated the lack of wait time. The PA was very thorough and the test results of my bloodwork were followed up first thing the next morning--for once I didnt have to follow up with a doctors office. A great experience start to finish.
Front receptionist was very nice when i called to have some lab work done. Got their and while I was speaking to the very nice front desk receptionist a female doctor very rudely interrupting our conversation regarding my lab work telling me that I must come back tomorrow when I needed that lab work today all just because someone went to lunch. Very unprofessional. I could have waited but she was very rude and was saying I can come back when I paid out of my pocket a taxi getting their and coming back home. I felt that was extremely unprofessional being that they do not know the importance of the test results for my health. Thats why I called ahead before arriving I was told they do lab work and they take my insurance plus their open their shouldnt be a reason for me to leave and come back if I even called ahead to make shore I wasnt going to waste my time and money. I ended up wasting my time and money all due to a very unprofessional very rude women that should be fired and have her licensed revoked. The point of having a job in the medical field is to help people not kick them out and make them waste their time and money.
The med tech was great! However front desk staff wasnt very friendly and I came in with hives and wasnt even prescribed a cream or anything to hold me over until I went to an allergist wasted my time ! My hives are now worse. I work for Northwell and this isnt a good representation
Unbelievable!! my son made appointment to have covid test he speaks to a PA. who advise even though he was positive, he still could have symptoms for a month. who is talking about symptoms. she then tells him as per CDC guidelines he cant be tested for at least a month. I advise him make sure he gets paperwork from her stating that, because she is lying !!!she then says she cant provide it. He proceeded to tell her that he cant go back to work without a negative test.so disappointed in this office 1st visit here and last
Although they indicated that the wait would be long to see a doctor, it was no more than like 10 minutes. IMO, the doctor had good bedside Diagnosed issue quickly. Explained treatment clearly. Nurse expedited flawless blood sample. Not there very long. Good to go.
I came there at 8 am while the staff was still walking in at the same time. You would think they would have been there earlier so that they were ready to see patients right when it opened at 8 am instead of me watching them walk in, joke around with the other workers with their jackets on. Then, even though there was only one person ahead of me, since they only have a PA on staff(Not even a doctor) it took 25 minutes for me to be seen. I cant imagine how long it would take to be seen if there were a lot of people waiting. Also, even though I had filled out the paperwork on line, it still took quite a while for the one receptionist that was there to check me in and I found her almost annoyed that I was even there, so not a very welcoming type of environment.
I was seen by a PA and Doctor immediately. I was given a diagnosis following a thorough history. StFf we’re all courteous and empathetic. I left feeling informed and with a treatment plan.
I had an 8:00 appointment for a COVID PCR test. I was seen right away and was in and out of the office within ten minutes. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The facility was very clean. It was a very pleasant experience!
As a retired former Northwell Healthcare RN, I was extremely pleased with the wonderful care from the staff at this site today- 10/04/21. From the front desk, to Ms.Kaur and Dr. Lennon, they were all extremely professional , attentive & efficient. Dr. Lennon is an excellent, competent & caring physician. I would highly recommend him. This was my 3rd medical experience at this site.
Very clean. I had to go here for pre-employment screening. I did my 1-9 verification and blood work all in ONE hour! The doctor was very good with vaccination shots as well! Very friendly and knowledgable staff. I’ll definitely recommend.
This place is okay if you have an emergency. As you walk in nobody greets and welcomes you the attending physician looked like she was very tired and unkept hair wasnt even combed. P A looked just over worked and tired. If you are used to customer service this place lacks it but get yourself checked out if you have to. As the saying goes you get what you pay for. The staff was not professional.
This place was the worst! From the woman at the front desk to the doctor. I took my daughter there this morning and as soon as we walked in the woman told me all of what they wouldn’t do and nothing that they would do to help. When we saw the doctor she was terrible. The worst bedside manner that I have ever encountered. We ended up leaving and going to another urgent care down the block and got the treatment my daughter needed. I will never go back there and suggest nobody else does either.
I came in with my husband, he is having a procedure and had a script for the Covid test. I asked if I could have one Abe they said they were booked! Then a woman came in that knew one of the doctors and was able to get a test done! Not right at all and unethical and I’m not happy! It’s not fair and I’m very upset!!!
Very nice staff. Dr. Lennon is a really good listener and takes great interest in helping people under his care. I have had him on a few visits and feel very confident in his diagnoses.
Went in for just a covid test. Was billed $499 ( i have insurance). Was not helpful in explaining or reducing this bill. I had basically no medically treatment. And no diagnose. Extortion.Apparently when I called if I had NO INSURANCE they would have billed me $195. 🤔
Very friendly and kind people at the desk and helper, and doctor did an amazing job sewing me up. Thanks to all three of the wonderful staff that was there. Defiantly going to be my new urgent care center.
I would like to thank Conrad MA and Dr. Kyle for their amazing care today. My mother and I came in for care today. They provided compassionate care and reassured that I would be fine and feel better. I give this place 10/10 and if I could give them unlimited stars I would! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
The staff was very professional and Dr Mildred Solano was extremely helpful. She was very concerned for my wife who tested positive for Covid and recommended my wife receive the MAB infusion. My wife has an autoimmune disease.
Horrible service. The staff is extremely rude and not helpful. They are bothered when a patient walks in. No one ever picks up the phone after giving you wrong information. I will never visit this place again. If people don’t like their job they shouldn’t work. Even the doctors do not want to answer any questions and seem bothered. In addition they close at 8 but start closing the facility early making certain things unavailable completely defeating the purpose to visit. Why do you check people in if you can’t provide service. Never again!
Went in without an appointment for sprained ankle. The registration went smooth and the PA saw me quickly. They are up to date technology but of course the blood pressure machine and the xray machine gave us some problem at first. However, once working the xray machine was great, portable and convenient. The tech was very good as was the PA. They had everything there I could possibly need for my injury. , The PA called me back later after the radiologist read the xray and again three days later to see how I was doing. Great service.
All the staff were professional and friendly. I was impressed by the doctor and was treated correctly
I had the most amazing experience with Dr Luciano. I stepped on a nail and was really nervous for my Tetanus shot but he made the experience really easy. It was also nice to see he was taking proper precautions in regards to COVID.
This is the best urgent care I’ve been to in my area. I burned myself while cooking and just needed it looked at after a few days of pain. It was healing. Glad I went and would recommend this place. Nice staff. Excellent Doctor Kyle.
You cannot reach them for results.6 days after my visit, Im still playing phone tag with their call center in Mexico in response to the Massapequa clinician leaving me a vm to follow up with results. ProHealth and CityMD have phone numbers that go directly to their actual location. Never again will I use anything northwell.Details: After i visited, the massapequa clinician left me a vm from a 347 area code to discuss results. I call back, and get routed to a call center in Mexico where I have to divulge my personal info and birthdate to get help. (And they wonder why identity theft of US citizens is so prevalent ) All that the call center can do is relay a message. The Massapequa clinician calls back a few hours later from another unknown number. Because of all the phone spam we get daily (which hasnt lessened since joining a do-not-call list) I dont pick up this unknown number. I listen to her vm and call back, getting rerouted to Mexico again, and so on...
If I could leave zero stars I would. This place is the absolute worst place in the history of walk in clinics. The staff on hand must have just came out of school or the unemployment line absolutely no clue what to do. Brought son in for a cough thought it may have been strep. Turned out not to be. Ok no problem. They were suppose to call a script for a certain cough medicine in to Walgreens and never did. Called this location multiple times no one ever answers the phone. Came for a EHS appt. Over hour drive. Came in “12:15” according to lady and appt was 12. Wouldnt let me do it. Sitting there for 15 min filling out paper work until she comes and tells me. Sitting and hearing front desk guy, communicating and rudeness/attitude is also there. Save your time go elsewhere.
Horrible experience. Doctor was rude. Made me feel like an idiot for coming in. The front desk staff lady was extremely rude.
Dr Kyle Lennon is fantastic.
Dr. Lennon was wonderful and very professional.
Thank you for always caring, so warmly and genuinely, as if we were your own family members. And for the follow up phone calls to see how were doing. Its a personal touch in medicine that, sadly, you rarely experience these days. Thank you for being there for us in times of trial.
Could not recommend seeing Dr Kyle Lennon enough! He was great. Very thorough, nice and great bedside manner.
Everyone was amazing. From the front door registrar to the nurse who made me feel super comfortable. He was friendly and relatable and the doctor was genuine and caring.
My child was so sick on Friday night. We went to Northwell Urgentcare on Merrick Rd. The Dr told us she just has a cold not the flu. Drink alot of fluids, and you can go back to work on Monday. Well, that night we heard our daughter calling our names. We went into her bedroom and felt her face it was very hot, I took her temp and it was 104.8*. My husband picked her and put her into the car. Went to Plainsview and that Dr told us our daughter has the FLU. We were there for 14 hours.I will never go to your location anymore. This Dr (she short woman with short dark hair).Plus, the girl at the counter has her earplugs in and talking on her cell to someone. This is not a professional medical center. Someone is on their cell and the music thats coming from cell phone is loud.We told our family and friends dont go to Northwell on Merrick Rd.
Convenient to schedule online, Medical Assistant who roomed me was very a pleasant guy. Dr Solano spent time explaining her recommendations to me.
Dr. Explained current treatment for Covid very well
If you guys get a short female doctor with glasses dressed in a hazmat suit, run out of the office. I went in for a simple ear irrigation, and she flatly refused because the canal wasnt fully clogged, and said to follow-up with an ENT. I went to a different GoHealth, and they gladly irrigated my ear and got all sorts of jelly bean sized hunks of earwax out. This woman also made me wait to grace me with her presence for at least 20 minutes even though the office was EMPTY and I saw several tumbleweeds roll by outside the room they stashed me in before she came in only to refuse me service. This location owes me my $20 co-pay back.
This is the worst place. Do NOT COME HERE. I had a horrible experience last time but thought everyone deserves a second chance. Well, my mistake. No one knows their butt from their elbow. Dont speak or understand English. Have PAs working without any doctors. No one had a clue whats going on. They barely ever have xray techs or actual physicians available. I wont get into details, it would take a day and a half to summarize the whole experience... But take my word and save yourself the headache. There are many other places to choose from. However I will say .... I noticed in the feedback here that I am 1 of many they refused to help. I was told to come back tomorrow.....and this is AFTER signing in, waiting my 2 hour wait. & Thats just the TIP of the iceberg.
The checkin process was smooth by James didnt have to wait took me right in. Desire P.A. was very professional and courteous checked vitals and Dr. Solano the attending was also very professional and extremely nice. Overall experience was pleasant. Would definitely recommend.
I really appreciated working with Dr. Lennon. He was thorough and thoughtful, and recommended treatment I hadnt even though of (and still, I work in healthcare and didnt even think about it!!). Thanks for making what could have been a terrible experience a good one
My husband and daughter went there tonight, both with a cough and sore throat. Without checking them, they had to get a covid test, both negative. Never took a strep test, issued nebulizer and antibiotics but never called it in. ?? Another sleepless night. Who does that?? NEVER AGAIN
Personal attention from the staff. The doctor and the technician were both friendly and professional.
Trying to make an appointment for my pregnant wife over the phone for 1 hour glocose test. they dont pickup and if you go there to make an appointment since they dont take walk in for glucose test. they ask to mKe it online or over the phone whixh both doest help because there is no option for reason to make appointmwnt..useless .
Waited for an hour in the rain for them to open. They say they accept walk-ins. That is lie! They took one walk in and closed it off at 8:05 am...they open at 8. And there were only 10 other people on the line. This place gets a one star review on that they dont do what they say. Good luck at this location. Ps. It looks the dirtiest out of all them.
On Tuesday May 11th 2021 at 7:40pm I arrived to have some blood test taken after my doctor sent me to this location and they refused to help me stating that it was to late and that they have to all leave and to come back another day. I felt that was extremely unprofessional being that they do not know the importance of test results for my health.
Very kind and caring staff. I was seen right away and the staff appraised me when I had to wait a few minutes. The NP who treated me was excellent kind caring and very thorough.
Clean office, reception was very helpful when I could not register online. The personal who took care of my injury was very thorough.
Great experience. The Doctor and Medical assistant were real nice, but the X-ray tech was top notch. Best of any urgent care I’ve been to!
I was there with my son on Dec 23rd for a Covid testing. I have called over several times and the staff could not find me on the system. I brought a dr script for myself snd son and they STILL HAVE NO RECORD OF MY VISIT. How is that possible? Very disappointed. And they keep hanging up on me.
Everyone was courteous and professional. Doctor Solano is excellent!
Fast and easy the Dr was great.
My daughter broke her foot this past weekend. We brought her to GoHealth and had a great experience. Dr Lennon was wonderful , terrific care by the whole team!
I highly recommend Dr. Kyle Lennon and the entire staff at Go Health. They are caring professionals. The scheduling online was quick and no wait in the office. Thank you so much!
Great place! I made an appointment online and was taken in right away. The check in desk was quick and both Roger and Dr Lennon were super nice. Thank you so much!
Every staff are very nice, knowledgeable and have a great bed side manner. Wait time wasnt so bad, even though I was a walk in patient.
I got there just as they were closing like a minute before .. and everyone was extremely nice and efficient and I didnt feel rushed at all .. that really impressed me .. but most of all how efficient they were in trying to figure out what was going on with me.. thats definitely my place to go now when I cant get to the doctor and feeling sick...
Staff is extremely rude. Been to this location 3 times and each time they are rude, get annoyed when you walk in the door. Tried making appointments but no one answers the phone. Each time they tell me I need an appointment that they don’t take walk ins. Only reason why I continued to come back is because I’m pregnant and have no choice. I highly recommend choosing another location.
This place is like a clinic. The person at the front desk is not friendly or helpful or even seem to know much of anything. The people that come in are not very pleasant and the doctor doesn’t do much. If you are not hear for Covid go someplace else.
Dr. Rich Loscalzo is amazing there!! So thorough and pleasant, especially while working on a holiday! Made sure I knew everything regarding my visit. All the staff there was so accommodating
The nurse and doctor were very nice and explained everything about my illness , I came in at 3 or so and not long to be seen love the place
The lab dept here is terrible! The wait is ridiculous. Go somewhere else! The assistants there just hang out and ppl be waiting so long just to get their lab work!
I made an online appointment ahead of time. I was taken immediately to the back for my blood work. It was quick and seemless. I wish that all of my medical appointments could be this easy!!
The greeting I received when I arrived. It was really nice. A greeting like that can make anyone feel better. Thank you!
I was a walk-in. I was helped with the paperwork and then I saw the doctor. everyone was helpful and nice.
If I could give less than 1 star I would. Worst front desk, even if you show proof of an appointment in writing they won’t take it and will refuse to see you. Horrible customer service. Worst gohealth/urgent care I have ever been in.
Made an appointment and took an hour to be seen.Way understaffed.Dr was nice and would recommend him if it was not for the wait.
I was in a lot of pain and not in the friendliest mood and the staff treated me with sympathy and compassion and did their best to treat my injury effectively
Dr Sola is great! Education provided prior taking the PCR covid test. Thank you 😊Wait time was normal, actually it was earlier than expected.
I had a misunderstanding with my blender, and went to this care center. Was greeted with professionalism and courtesy. The nurse was very sweet and the Doctor was fabulous.
Been here a few times, always over an hour to see someone. Crazy. And im the only patient at this time. Staff is laughing and joking around....Doc/PA nowhere to be found. Maybe they called in sick. There is 0 urgent about the care received. Will never be back!
The staff was extremely pleasant and efficient. And the doctor I saw, Danielle, was so kind.
Aimee at the front was more then helpful from when I called to when I left. She kept my kids calm and entertained while I was with the provider, who was also amazing. So happy
It was the day after Christmas and it was Very Busy !! I made an appt on line and was in and out in just over an hour. The doctor was Terrific !!
I love the experience that I had with this facility that was taken care of immediately and prescribed medication immediately with the diagnosis I was given I’m feeling so much better
Prompt attentive care, prescription sent quickly, follow up call received for pulmonary referral
Slowest service I’ve ever experienced for medical care, I highly suggest anyone look else where
The wait was not bad. The care was great.
Everyone at this office is part of the WOKE culture. Extremely unprofessional and laugh at you when they tell you rapid tests have a 5 hour wait time.
PREGNANT - SICK - TIMED 3 hr GLUCOSE TEST:So far the woman came 30 min late when I had the first appointment at 8 am for a 3 hour timed glucose test. She called everyone else in when all I needed was a drink to start the hour long wait to get the first blood draw taken. When I asked if I could get the drink to start my wait I was told no one else could help me. So now my 3 hour test after fasting since yesterday afternoon is already 3 hours & 30 min & still counting.
That is the best place I ever went to very satisfied. Very neat, clean and very nice people.
Waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment time before being seen.
This place doubles as a lab for NORTHWELL, with rude, obnoxious, unfriendly staff. They don’t know how to talk to people, and certainly don’t deserve to work in a field that requires compassion for people dealing with sickness and illness. Two horrible experiences with this place!!!
I have been here since 5:45 for a 6:00 pm appointment. Still waiting to be seen at 6:53. Am running a fever and feeling really weak. Wish they would come check me out.
From the second I walked through the door every moment went so easily and painless totally would go back with my family and friends thank You 😊
Office in Massapequa was a very pleasant experience since I had to go and have blood work-lab tech was gone for the day but the Dr on call and nurse was able to do it-so I didn’t need to come back on a Saturday-highly recommend!
I had a an experience like nothing before going into a drs office it was very pleasant everyone was so nice the whole place was immaculate the wait was short the drs were very thorough and answered my questions it was great thank you to everyone at North Shore
Yes Dr Lennon and the team need to be commended. Despite the busy stressful environment they work in,the t Dr Lennon and the team are caring kind and compassionate
Very polite doctor!!! Talk to daughter, not down to her as a doctor, very happy! Great doctor!
Everyone was kind and they all worked together to get everyone in and seen quickly without feeling like I was being rushed or not cared for
I tried to cancel an appt for their convenience. impossible to do online or via app. Tried to call and the mailbox is full. How unprofessional. (role eye face)
Staff was professional, knowledgeable and empathic; waiting area and exam rooms were very sanitary. Pleasant experience.
Worst urgent care! The waits are insane even with an appointment which means apparently nothing! Hopefully Northwell looks into this facility.
Every person who works there care about the people they see. I always have heard the Covid test is terrible and it hurts. It wasn’t at all. I will go there whenever I have to be seen by an ER doctor
The online sign in and fast service was great.Went in for a COVID test and was in and out in 15 min.
Had a great experience here. Very courteous and organized staff make this my go to place when I need testing done.
Quick, professional and knowledgeable.
They have a young doctor, or a nurse who drives a Porsche parked in the handicap spots. Sad and ridiculous at the same time.
Conveniently located I always go here for fast medical urgent care. The staff is professional and caring.I highly recommend the Northwell doctors
As a walk in, it was a nice easy experience with no much wait time. Staff was very nice. A good experience overall .
Staff was great, no long wait, clan facility.
I did not have to wait to see a doctor. Outstanding staff! Thank you!
1. I WAS TOLD TO COME 10 MINS EARLY FOR AN 8 AM APPT . AT 8 AM I WATCHED OUTSIDE , IN FRONT OF THE DOOR AS THE GIRLS AT THE FRONT DESK WERE TALKING AND ONE FILING HER NAILS. THEY LET ME IN AT 8:08 AM AND TOLD ME THE DOOR HAS AN AUTO LOCK ON IT. (THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD THE COURTESY TO OPEN THE DOOR AND TELL ME TO SIT IN THE CAR.2. DR. MISDIAGNOSED ME WITH A VIRAL INFECTION WHEN IT TURNS OUT I HAD CHICKEN POX. (I ADVISED MY BOYFRIEND HAD SHINGLES AND HE SAID SINCE I NEVER HAD CHICKENPOX I COULD NOT GET SHINGLES, BUT HE DIDNT REALIZE I COULD GET CHICKEN POX AT 60 YEARS OF AGE.3. AS THEY WERE TRYING TO RUSH ME OUT, 15MIN VISIT I GUESS, I ASKED FOR A DRS NOTE AND THEY MENTIONED HOW BUSY THEY WERE (3 PATIENTS)TEY GAVE ME A GENERIC EXCUSE FROM WORK FOR 1 DAY WITH NO DIAGNOSE . NO REASON4. I RECEIVED A TEXT ABOUT THE VISIT; I REPLIED I WAS NOT HAPPY. THERE REPLY WAS THEY WILL CONTACT ME AND THEY NEVER DID.5. although I WAS THRILLED THEY WERE OPEN ON A SATURDAY, WHICH MY DR. WAS NOT, IT WAS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY FOR THIS CASEIn August I find out I was charged and had to pay out of pocket through my insurance company $250.00 for t he 10 minute service which ws taking my temperature and the misdiagnosis
The best urgent Care facility in the area of massapequa! Prompt, curtious ,and feel very at ease Everytime I walk in there.

Easy check-in, great support from the entire staff, fairly quick process and appointment.
This is a great out patient care center. The wait is not long, the staff is amazing and they really care!

Terrible experience at This location. They do not show any compassion or concern, did not answer any of my question and were very dismissive.
Very pleasant experience everyone was very friendly and helpful
Expedient service with excellent medical care by a physician, far better than other UCC in the five mile area.
Friendly courteous staff. Excellent follow up from the Dr.

They are so wonderful here. The medical assistants, docs, PAs are amazing!!
Dr. Solano and staff were very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful.
Don’t believe the web site! You cannot walk in, you must make an appointment first, in person or on line.!
